• International Baccalaureate (IB)

ARIS is proud to be one of the leading IB World Schools in Ghana and across Africa, embarking on a journey of inclusion, collaboration, and innovation. Our educational model focuses on personalized learning, performance, and experiences, emphasizing student agency as learners take ownership of their education.

We are fully authorized to offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), IB Diploma Programme (DP), and the IB Career-related Programme (IBCP). Notably, ARIS is recognized as the first school in Africa to offer all four IB Programmes, establishing us as a pioneer in the region.

From the early years to graduation, ARIS instills the values of global citizenship and international-mindedness in our students. Our core values—collaboration, communication, and belief in greatness—inform our daily efforts to inspire and empower learners to contribute to a better, more inclusive world.

With a strong emphasis on inclusivity, our counseling and support department works to create a fully integrated curriculum for students with diverse needs and abilities. The ARIS Wellbeing Model prioritizes student wellbeing, ensuring that all learners receive the support they need to thrive.

We also encourage our students to learn foreign languages, facilitating exposure to various cultures and linguistic systems. This approach fosters an informed awareness of the diversities and similarities present in our global community. Currently, we offer Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, German, Hindi, and local languages.

Representing over 50 nationalities, our students learn to appreciate and celebrate their cultural roots. We believe that intercultural understanding and interpersonal skills are vital in today’s world, and learning from each other is essential for forming one’s identity.
